t’s always difficult describing yourself. i don’t even know how many of these things i’ve written. whatever. i’ve written so many of these because i’m always changing; i’m always remolding myself into a better being. lately, i’ve re-evaluated my beliefs and have knocked myself down to my foundation, rebuilding my morals and belief systems. i guess my personality (anxious, introverted, slightly vain, calculating, slightly judgmental [aren’t we all?], tolerant, bad tempered, artistically temperamental, curious, distrustful, a little ambitious, and secretive) is still the same, though i am working on my bad temper and my terrible social anxiety. a lot of you don’t realize that i actually love being around people and my friends. i love being in the spotlight. but i’m also extremely afraid of being judged, so i’ve settled for being the wallflower who follows instead of leads. i guess i’m content with that, but i still yearn for more. anyway, back to this. i love singing, music (especially classical. my favorite composers are Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Edvard Grieg, Ludwig van Beethoven, and John Williams), getting dressed up, shopping, holidays (Halloween and Christmas are the best), baking (i yearn to be a pastry chef), picnics, stars, books, quills, writing, literature (i love Alice In Wonderland maybe a little too much), photography, modeling, mythology/folklore, theology, philosophy, movies, foreign languages (i know a little bit of French and wish to learn Russian, Latin, German and Italian), and musical instruments (i can play the clarinet, bassoon and am learning the piano. i wish to learn the contrabassoon, harpsichord, organ, cello, double bass, bass guitar, and violin). some of my favorite people and role models are Meryl Streep, Julie Andrews, Kat Von D, Jennifer Saunders, Emilie Autumn, and St. Catherine of Alexandria. i’m very careful about how i present myself (after all, you only get one chance to make a good first impression) to the world, so don’t assume you know me after one look because i can almost guarantee you don’t. all i can say is that if you let me live my life the way i want, i will let you do the same.
